The Eat. Move. Love. Project offers you a path to experience freedom from food and weight obsession, find balance in your body, and discover your natural healthy size through three essential practices: Eating Intuitively, Moving Joyfully, & Loving Your Body.

Even though “dieting” has proven without a doubt NOT to work, most people have no clue about what other options exist beyond the dieting-binging lifestyle that is so pervasive.

Another path does exist: The practice of Intuitive Eating (i.e., natural eating with awareness).

A world where intuitive eating, joyful movement, and loving self-care for the body, mind, and spirit is the norm instead of the exception.

The Mission

To spread the message of eating freedom, love of movement, and care for the body, mind, and spirit through the practice and philosophy of intuitive eating (i.e., natural with awareness) to at least 10,000 women worldwide. To witness the end of the pervasive dieting-binging lifestyle.

Is this message really that important? YES!!! And, yes again for the countless people whose sense of wellbeing is negatively impacted by weight obsession, over or under moving their bodies, and body dislike and domination. We have the ability to shift into a new era of balance, health, and wellness.

The participation of men is very welcome and needed! This campaign is specifically targeting an increase in awareness with women because we remain the largest consumers of the dieting industry, even though diets don’t work. However, men have been increasingly affected by food and weight obsession as well.

How can you participate in this growing community of skilled natural eaters?

Step 3: Incorporate an intuitive eating practice into your life: honor your hunger signals, by feeding your body, think about ways you can care for your body, discover ways to deal with your emotions without using food, etc.

Project Background

So many women trapped in the confusing maze of dieting information about what, when, why, and how much to eat  are searching and yearning for a sustainable way to care for themselves and experience a balanced relationship with their bodies. Unfortunately, many women have had no exposure to intuitive eating as a path to eating and personal freedom. The intention of this project is to spread the message about and successful practice of intuitive eating as far and as wide as possible.

This project is inspired by the amazing work of several intuitive eating pioneers. Most notably the phenomenal insights and practices within the books Intuitive Eating by Evelyn Trible & Elyse Resch and When Women Stop Hating Their Bodies by Jane Hirschmann & Carol Munter, authors of Overcoming Overeating, are core to this initiative.
